Besides that, I must must must inform you that you are absolutely and horrendously mistaken. No, anyone who knows me well enough can substantiate my not being friends with Bernouli, and even though we are acquaintances, I did not say what I had to defend her singlely.
As I mentioned before, the only intention I had behind my addressing you was simply that I do not believe that any person in this community has the right to insult another member's artwork. This is a community where people are allowed to seek and offer constructive and helpful criticism, and although you say that your criticism is helpful, the hurt that it causes detracts from your claimed purpose.
Although I am not friends with Bernouli personally, many of my friends do know her quite well, and from my knowledge, Bernouli was actually quite offended by what you said. However, she respects the administration's wishes for her not to exacerbate a, what I understand was, previous disagreement "post war" between many of your and her friends.
You might think that your very intelligent in being able to "pinpoint" all of Bernouli's friends and posse who are against you, but please realize that not everyone is on one side or another, even though you might instinctively perceive the world in such black and white.
Honestly speaking, you might criticize Bernouli for not being able to receive criticism but any artist who has worked and put effort into something he or she has created would be offended by a comment such as yours. and no, I believe that Bernouli does respect other people's opinions very well, just as long as the person respects her work, which you obviously and blatantly did not. I personally have criticized her work before, and I have never heard any complaints or heard that she has been hurt from any of her friends. If I have ever hurt her or anyone else that I have offered advice, I would immediately apologize and rescind my statements.
Also, I have to correct you in saying that I "changed subjects". No, if you read through my comment once again very carefully, you will realize that I was never speaking about Bernouli's wallpaper directly - simply referencing hers, because I felt that your comment was uncalled for and a product of sheer spite. I had been talking about your method of critique the entire time, and I am sorry to hear that you failed to recognize that.
Alright, you might personally choose to use the blur tool on many of the scans that you decide to wall. However, even I, a person that rarely dabbles in graphics, can recognize the difference between blur and paint. However, it is not my intention to argue the semantics of a single wallpaper with you. All I am asking is that you watch the words that you choose to write when you comment on someone else's work.
Well, that's alright then, I apologize if you felt like I was critiquing you personally for your userpage. However, as it is your userpage, I think you should consider user-friendliness when you decided to use it as your format. If I knew who the member was that created your page, I would have informed him of my opinion in a way that would not be rude or offensive.
I am sorry that the intention of my original post was unclear, but I do hope that I have adequately explained myself now, and no no, I agree that your English is quite clear for someone who does not speak it as a first language, and I commend you for writing it so well. However, as a fellow community member, I was in your best interest when I informed you on the difference between denotations and connotations. I am sorry, however, if it seemed that I was insulting you ~
If you still do not understand what the intent was behind what I wrote, this will be the last time that I address you and I apologize in vain and in place of everyone else who will suffer as a result.
